Greetings to all golf enthusiasts and supporters of the York-James City-Williamsburg NAACP Youth Works,
We are excited to announce our 20th Annual Golf Tournament which is dedicated to supporting the Youth Works of the Historic Triangle’s NAACP. This event will take place on October 21, 2023, at the beautiful Kiskiack Golf Club in Williamsburg. For two decades, the Williamsburg Police Department and the York-James City-Williamsburg branch of the NAACP have worked together to make this fundraiser a vital source of funding for scholarships, citizenship-building opportunities, and support materials for the young people in our community.

We would like to invite you to join us on this fun-filled day of making a positive impact in our community. The day will commence at 7:30 AM with registration, free range balls, and access to putting and chipping areas, light refreshments, and opportunities to purchase mulligans, raffle tickets, and more. The shotgun start is scheduled for 9:00 AM, and players will receive a boxed lunch at the turn. Awards and raffle prizes will be presented at the end of the round. The registration fee is $95.00 per player or $360.00 for a team of four. While we primarily aim to obtain sponsorships to support Youth Works, the tournament’s success is significantly enhanced by the turnout of participants who show their support and enthusiasm for our cause.
The YJCW-NAACP volunteers are dedicated to nurturing the youth in our community into future leaders by teaching citizenship, respect, and self-reliance. They mobilize to promote academic and artistic excellence and recognize the next generation of leaders’ creative talent and academic achievement. The proceeds from this event go directly to our local branch of the NAACP to support Youth Works of the Historic Triangle. These funds will provide support materials, finance educational trips and conferences, and grant scholarships that will help young people develop the necessary skills to become valuable members of society.
