This year the event will include a luncheon and awards program which honors the life and work of Dr. King, in addition to recognizing area high school students for their academic excellence. The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation will graciously host us once again at the Colonial Williamsburg Lodge in the Colony Room on SUNDAY, January 15, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. Your continued support makes this community event possible.

Please note that with the first on-site event since the pandemic, the ACT-SO organization made some significant changes.
- The information about the students and the picture of the student (.jpeg format) should be emailed directly to Termaine Hopkins at thopkins@ycsd.york.va.us. Please email this information and picture by Monday, November 21st.
- All attendees(except the students being honored) will need to purchase a ticket to attend. Principals should check with their central office staff to determine if funds have been allocated for this event. Parents may purchase tickets online or use the form provided to mail a check to the YJCW NAACP Office.
- The luncheon will be held in a banquet room upstairs called the Colony Roomin the Williamsburg Lodge.
