Save the Date! The 87th Virginia State Conference of the NAACP Annual Convention, will be held virtually from October 21 - 23, 2022. We will discuss actions and solutions necessary to improve, protect, and change our communities. Registration and Convention Schedule Coming Soon!

Details Our annual golf fund-raiser is scheduled for Saturday, November 12, 2022, at the Kiskiack Golf Club. A 9:00 a.m. shotgun start is planned with lunch and prizes at the end of the round. The cost is $90.00 per player, or $340.00 for a team of four. Our emphasis again this year will be on recruiting sponsorships to raise necessary funds for the successful operation of the York-James City-Williamsburg NAACP Youth Council.   Volunteers with the “York-James City-Williamsburg branch of the NAACP”, do a fantastic job working with our area’s promising young people, teaching important lessons on citizenship, respect and self-reliance. This year the event will include a luncheon and awards program which honors the life and work of Dr. King, in addition to recognizing area high school students for their academic excellence.
